Louisiana Blue Expands MyLABlue Access to Medicare Advantage Members

BATON ROUGE, La. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana (Louisiana Blue) is expanding access to MyLABlue, its digital member platform, to include Medicare Advantage members. With MyLABlue, Louisiana Blue Medicare Advantage members can now manage their plan information and care online through the same secure experience other members are using.

Available at lablue.com/blueadvantage, through the MyLABlue mobile app or via MyChart, the platform gives Medicare Advantage members convenient access to tools designed to support their everyday health plan interactions.

With MyLABlue, members have everything they need. All in one place. Members can use the MyLABlue platform to:

• View their health plan information at a glance

• Download and use their digital ID cards

• Find doctors and care options in their network

• Check the status of certain prior authorizations requests

• Message Customer Service representatives securely

• Pay insurance premiums 

• Share their health information with a family member, caretaker or authorized delegate

Blue Advantage members will also be able to access their Flex Card and Healthy Rewards through MyLABlue.

Medicare Advantage members can visit lablue.com/welcome or call the Customer Service number on the back of their ID card to get started or learn more.
