Medicare Health Plans from Louisiana Blue Earn High Quality Scores from CMS
Members also rate plans as having exceptional customer service

BATON ROUGE, La.  – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana (Louisiana Blue) announced today that its 2026 Medicare Advantage PPO health plans have earned an overall quality rating of 4.5 stars, while its HMO health plans have earned an overall quality rating of 4 out of 5 stars from the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

CMS publishes the Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Part D prescription drug plan Star Ratings each year. The ratings are based on member feedback and data from doctors and hospitals that work with the plan, among other factors.

Louisiana Blue Medicare Advantage members also rated the plan’s Customer Service team 5 stars on the 2026 CMS Medicare Consumer Assessment of Health Providers and Systems (MCAHPS) survey.

Medicare-eligible people can enroll in individual Medicare plans during the Medicare annual enrollment period, which runs through Dec. 7, 2025.
